All the infromation on the website is provided in good faith , however Tie and Knot matrimony makes no representation or warranty of any kind regarding the accuracy , adequacy , validity , relaibility , or completeness of any infromation on the website .

Users are responsible for verifying the authenticity of profile and communications.

Tie and Knot matrimony shall not be laibale for any loss or damage arising from user interactions, false information , or any form of misuse of the platform . Users are advised to act with caution and discretion .

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

1. Eligibility

    You must be 21 years or older (for men) and 18 years or older (for women) to register.You should be legally single and eligible for marriage as per Indian laws.Our platform is strictly for people looking for a life partner, not for dating or friendship.

2. Account and Profile

    Please provide true and complete details while registering.You are responsible for keeping your login information private.If we find any false or fake information, your profile may be removed without notice.Uploading offensive or misleading photos or content is not allowed.

3. Membership

    Basic membership is free. Some features may need a paid plan.All payments made are non-refundable.Buying a premium plan does not guarantee marriage — we only provide a platform to connect people.

4. Communication

    Members can contact each other through the app or website as per their chosen plan. Please be respectful while communicating. Using the platform for harassment, abuse, or any non-marital purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension. By registering, you consent to receive emails, SMS, and calls from us regarding your account and matches.

5. Privacy

    Your privacy is important to us. We never sell your personal details to the third parties for marketing . Some of your profile details (like photo, education, religion, and location) may be visible to other members. We collect personal information (Name, DOB, Caste/Community, Education, etc.) only to provide matchmaking services.

6. Responsibilities

    We do not verify background of each profile personally, so please check and verify information before making any decision.Tie & Knot Matrimony is not responsible for any false claims or misuse by other members. Meet or share personal details only after you are comfortable and have verified the other person. users are solely responsible for the information they provide. Tie & Knot does not verify the background of every user. We strongly advise users to do their own background checks before proceeding with any alliance.

7. Termination

    We can suspend or delete any profile that violates our rules or terms.You can also delete your profile anytime by contacting our support team. You agree not to post offensive, obscene, or illegal content. We reserve the right to delete profiles that violate these terms without a refund.

8. Legal

All content, logos, and materials on this site belong to Tie & Knot Matrimony.

9. Liability

Tie & Knot is a platform for matchmaking only. We are not responsible for any disputes, financial losses, or issues arising between users after they connect.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

 At Tie & Knot , we are committed to providing a reliable matchmaking experience. This policy outlines the terms regarding cancellations and refunds for our subscription services.

1. No Refund for Services: All payments made for subscription plans at Tie & Knot are final and non-refundable. Once a premium membership is activated, no refund will be issued regardless of the usage of the service or the results of the matchmaking process.

2. Technical Error / Duplicate Payments: We only provide refunds in the case of technical errors where a user is charged more than once for the same transaction.

  • If you have been charged multiple times due to a glitch, please contact us at info@tieandknotmatrimony.in within 48 hours.

  • You must provide the Transaction ID and a screenshot of the debit message.

  • After verification, the duplicate amount (minus any payment gateway processing fees) will be refunded to the original payment source.

3. Refund Processing Time: Approved refunds for technical errors will be initiated within 7–10 business days. The time it takes for the amount to reflect in your bank account depends on your bank's internal policies.

4. Profile Deletion: If you choose to delete your profile before your subscription expires, the remaining period is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another user.

5. Data Security : Your payment details (Credit Card/UPI) are handled by our secure payment partner and are not stored on our servers.

6. Grievance Redressal: In case of any unresolved issues or payment-related concerns, please write to us at info@tieandknotmatrimony.in with your Transaction ID and Registered Mobile Number. We aim to respond to all queries within 24–48 working hours.

 

ID Verfication & Privacy control

1. Identity Verification (Non-Mandatory but Recommended)

To foster a community of genuine users, we provide an optional Identity Verification service.

  • Accepted Documents: You may choose to upload a copy of your Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.

  • Verification Purpose: We use these documents strictly to verify your Name, Date of Birth (Age), and Profile Photo.

  • Manual Deletion Policy: We do not maintain a database of government IDs. Once our administrative team manually verifies your details against the document, the file is permanently deleted from our system.

  • Trust Badge: Profiles successfully verified will receive a "Verified" badge. Users are encouraged to prioritize interacting with verified profiles for their own safety.

  • No Third-Party Sharing: Your ID documents are never shared with other users or third-party marketing agencies.

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information. Profiles found with fraudulent IDs will be terminated immediately without a refund.

2. Privacy Controls & Visibility

We provide you with granular control over your sensitive information. You can set the visibility for the following three categories:

  • Categories: 1. Photo | 2. Contact Details | 3. Horoscope

  • Visibility Options:

    • Seen by All: Your information is visible to every visitor on the platform.

    • Registered Members Only: Your information is hidden from the general public and only visible to users who have a verified, logged-in account.

    • Granular Control: You can use the Privacy Control settings to hide your profile, restrict who can view your photos, or limit who can contact you based on specific criteria.

    • Data Visibility: While we provide these tools, you acknowledge that information you set to "Public" or "Visible to Registered Members" is shared at your own risk.

3. Interaction Features

  • Send Interest: You may express interest in a profile to initiate a conversation. We reserve the right to limit the number of interests sent per day to prevent spam.

  • Shortlist: This is a private tool for your reference. Shortlisting a profile does not grant that user access to your private or restricted data unless permitted by your Privacy Settings. Adding a member to your shortlist does not notify them unless you explicitly "Send Interest."

  • Communication Etiquette: You agree to communicate respectfully. Harassment, hate speech, or unsolicited commercial advertisements are strictly prohibited.

4. User Responsibility & Safety

  • Self-Verification: While we verify IDs manually, we do not conduct full background checks (criminal records, financial status, etc.). It is the user's responsibility to perform due diligence before entering into any matrimonial alliance.

  • Intermediary Role: Tie & Knot matrimony acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act. We are not responsible for any misrepresentations made by users beyond the data verified via the submitted ID.
